Sana'a, Yemen, Jan. 3 (UPI) - The U.S. embassy in Yemen, closed Sunday because of threats against U.S. interests al-Qaida in the Arabian Peninsula, officials said.

The announcement on the website of the embassy did not say when it would reopen the office in Sana'a.

The embassy sent a message to U.S. citizens in Yemen on Thursday to remind them of terrorist threats and tell them to maintain a high level of security and surveillance.

U.S. President Barack Obama Saturday linked al-Qaida in Yemen at 25 December, an attempted attack on a Northwest Airlines flight en route from Amsterdam to Detroit.

The suspect arrested in the foiled assassination attempt allegedly told police officers who had been helped by the group.

Trader Horn is the first documentary film shot on location in Africa. The 1931 film tells of the adventures of real life trader and adventurer Alfred Aloysius "Trader" Horn of African safari. It featured many authentic shots of African wildlife and a large amount of land not true. She was nominated for an Oscar for Best Picture in 1931. Edwin Booth, the female protagonist, an illness that ended his career, while recording, which sued the producers of the MGM.

The film was written by Cyril Hume (dialogue), John Thomas Neville, Richard Schayer and Dale Van Every and Ethelred Lewis, and directed by WAS Van Dyke. It is based on a popular book of the time, Trader Horn by Alfred Aloysius Horn.
