blue moon 2009

blue moon 2009

There will be a blue moon on New Year's Eve 2009. The blue moon is an unexpected gift for New Year's Eve 2009, and fill the night sky for most of the nation to see. A blue moon is not exactly what it sounds unless you look in the light exactly right. By contrast, a blue moon is the term used to describe the second full moon occurring in the same calendar month. December, 2009 Blue Moon for the New Year will be the first time since 1990 that the event has taken place.

This blue moon should make a big night out to celebrate, but the only trick for most of the country will have time that is not covered at night. Otherwise the full moon in December is not very well by many people. The reason it is difficult for a full moon to pass twice in the same month is that only occurs once every 29.5 days. Thus, one month must have one in the first two days to make it possible, as December 2009 will be able to perform.
