Nigerian man accused of trying to fly an airplane in the U.S. Christmas day is lived in Yemen until earlier this month, the Yemeni authorities have said.

The Foreign Ministry said Omar Faruk Abdulmutallab, 23, was in Yemen from August to early December, the official news agency Saba.

He had a visa to study Arabic at an institute in the capital, Sanaa. [..]
