The school has been canceled for detail as follow.
Belmont, Mass. - Even in advance of our recent dusting of snow on Dec. 9 (remember, I am coming from Maine), our Belmont storm team assembled to review our inclement weather protocol. The safety of students and staff will continue to be the primary consideration and will guide decisions about delays or school closings. Decisions will be made and communicated as early as possible generally, at or before 6 a.m. The Superintendent makes the final decision, after communicating with the Belmont Highway Department, School Department Maintenance & Operations and surrounding town and school departments.
Notice of school delays or school closings will be:

n Announced/listed on WBZ 1030 AM/WBZ-TV 4, WCVB-TV 5, WRKO 680 AM, and WHDH-TV 7.
