Snow blanketed Cape Cod Sunday morning as the first major snow storm of the season blew through the region.
The National Weather Service forecast for today said snow could be heavy at times. High near 33. Windy, with a north wind between 22 and 30 mph, with gusts as high as 46 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100 percent. Total daytime snow accumulation of 3 to 7 inches possible.
Tonight: A chance of snow, mainly before 9pm. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 22. Blustery, with a north wind between 17 and 20 mph, with gusts as high as 34 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40 percent. New snow accumulation of less than one inch possible.
