tehranTEHRAN (Reuters) - Four people died in clashes between protesters in favor of reform and security forces in Tehran on Sunday in a second day of violence during a religious ritual of Shiite Muslim mourning, an opposition website said.
The victims were the first murders in the protests and immediately after a disputed election in June in which the opposition says more than 70 people died.
The authorities estimated the death toll after voting at half that number, including pro-government militiamen.
