Boston (DbTechNo) - has reported that 64 year old singer Van Morrison is the new proud father of a child.

The mother of the little guy is really Gigi Lee Morrison's manager, and reports indicate that the mother and son are okay.

George Ivan Morrison III came into the world yesterday at an undisclosed hospital.

Morrison had his Web site to publish a statement after the birth of his son.

"Gigi (Lee) and Van Morrison is proud to announce the birth of their first child, George Ivan Morrison III," he wrote.

"Little Van, born 28 December 2009 - the spitting image of his father. He is a dual citizen of Northern Ireland v United Kingdom and the United States," he said.

Van Morrison was born on 31 August 1945, and has had a Steller's musical career.
